A Space for Projects, Family and a ’63 Corvette | Shop Build Story | Project 13236
After a lifetime of working on farm equipment and taking care of the property, this retired farmer from Loveland, Colorado wanted a new project that would keep him busy and bring his family together. He needed a space that could handle everything from restoring his 1963 split window Corvette to hosting weekend gatherings with his kids and grandkids.
After looking at several builders, he found Steel Structures America and met estimator Rick Peak. From the very first meeting, Rick took the time to listen, adjust renderings, and design a space that checked every box. Together they created an 50x80x18 post frame building with an open lean-to, a loft, and tall doors to fit equipment, boats, and trucks.
Since finishing the project, it has become a favorite family gathering place. Most weekends are spent in the shop working on the Corvette, building benches, or helping the grandkids with projects. The owner says the space turned out even better than he hoped and credits Rick and the SSA crew for their professionalism, hard work, and attention to detail.

“Everything about this place is good” | The Heartfelt Story Behind Crow Creek
Crow Creek started as one woman’s vision, a simple idea to create a space where people could gather. Over time, that idea grew into something far greater. Today, it’s the heart of its community.
Here, weddings follow harvests. Fall Fests lead into Christmas Toy Drives. Families come to celebrate life, and sometimes to say goodbye. Kids with Down Syndrome unwrap gifts that were chosen just for them.
Projects like this remind us why craftsmanship and purpose have to go hand in hand. Every design choice matters because these buildings become part of people’s lives. They host memories, milestones, and stories that last for generations.
If you’re dreaming about a space that brings people together — whether it’s for family, business, or community — we’d love to help you build it.

From Texas to Spokane | Small-Lot Garage Build with Steel Structures America | Project 14135
When this couple moved from Texas to Spokane, WA, they knew they needed a functional garage that made the most of their small city lot.
Permitting requirements meant the new structure had to stay within the original garage footprint — a challenge that inspired a smart, efficient design. We recommended a pole building to avoid footing setbacks, offering a faster, more affordable solution without sacrificing quality.
With Steel Structures America, the construction process went smoothly from start to finish. The result is a compact yet highly functional garage that fits the property perfectly and adds long-term value.
